Earlier today, Rescue Squad 741, Ambulance 741 and Medic 741 responded with units from Montgomery County Fire & Rescue, NIH and Walter Reed National Medical Center to a house fire on Roosevelt Street.

The fire was quickly extinguished by units on scene.  Fire investigators ruled the cause as electrical in nature and damage was estimated to be approximately $250K.

Firefighters also located and rescued one hiding dog who was unharmed!
