The first step is to submit an application online. Once you submit your application, it will be reviewed for completion and assigned to a member of our Recruitment Committee so that you can begin the three-step process:
- Phone Interview
- Ride Along
- Panel Interview

Junior Member Applicants
Our junior membership program is highly competitive. We have a cap of 14 junior members at any time, which equates to two on each of our night crews. Due to the nature of the program, we only accept applications for the program twice per year. Applications may be submitted from February 1 through March 31 for our spring class, and from July 1 to August 31 for our fall class. The number of spots varies depending on how many vacant positions we have.
Administrative Member Applicants
In addition to our active members who respond on calls, we also have a cadre of administrative members who assist with more behind the scenes functions such as fundraising, development, etc.
