August 26th at approx 7:15 pm, Rescue Squad 741 responded with Battalion 2 MCFRS units to a kitchen fire on Dudley Lane off Pooks Hill Road. RS741's crew conducted searches, controlled utilities, and assisted with ventilation. BCCRS Medic 741 responded. No injuries reported.
Congrats Firefighter and EMT Ashley Donovan our new emergency driver/technician on Rescue Squad 741! We also celebrate Ashley becoming a life member, reflecting 10 years of active volunteer service. By day, Ashley is a Ph.D. chemist and teaches chemistry at an area high school.
Rescue Squad 741, Medic 741 and MCFRS units responded to an overturned vehicle with one person trapped. RS741 stabilized vehicle on its side using a tie back method. RS741 then extricated the victim through windshield. Patient transported to hospital with severe hand trauma.
BCCRS is aware of the arrest and serious allegations against Life Member Christopher Dudley. He has been placed on administrative leave and suspended from all Squad activities. @mcfrspio
