In light of COVID-19, BCCRS in-person Rescue Day 2020 traditionally held in October is unfortunately cancelled. This year the Squad will be hosting a “Virtual Rescue Day.” The goal of “Virtual Rescue Day” is to provide the community insight into BCCRS activities via short pre-recorded videos posted on BCCRS social media.

“Virtual Rescue Day” will be held in early December 2020. Each day in the beginning of December, a short pre-recorded video highlighting current BCCRS activities and educational demonstrations will be posted on BCCRS social media. The goal is to engage and educate the community, supporters and potential volunteers by providing insight into current EMS and Rescue related initiatives around the station. We would like to have all members of Night Crews to have the opportunity to be included and contribute to “Virtual Rescue Day.”
