Steven Solomon is a multifaceted individual who has made significant contributions both in emergency services and scientific research. Joining the Rescue Squad in 1998, he has been an active firefighter, EMT, and heavy rescue squad officer, demonstrating his commitment to public safety. Concurrently, for the past 25 years, Steven has served as a scientist in the Critical Care Medicine Department at the National Institutes of Health, focusing on expanding our understanding of and treatment for critically ill patients with sepsis and septic shock. He resides in Chevy Chase, MD, with his wife, two children, and beloved dogs Phil & Max.
