Steven Solomon joined the Rescue Squad in 1998 and is an active firefighter, EMT, and heavy rescue squad officer. When not at the squad, Steven is a scientist in the Critical Care Medicine Department in the Clinical Center at the National Institutes of Health. Where, for the last 25 years, he has worked toward expanding our understanding of and treatment for critically ill patients with sepsis and septic shock. Steven lives in Chevy Chase, MD with his wife, two children and dog, Phil.
