Phil Carrescia is a native Washingtonian who joined the Rescue Squad in December 1977 and was an active call running member from 1977 – 1992. Phil served on the Board of Directors from 1981 through 1992 and in 2016, including positions as Treasurer from 1982-1984 and Vice President 1985 -1987. He is Vice President and Director of Tax for The Donohoe Companies, Inc., a large regional real estate and construction firm. In this role he handles tax planning and compliance and assists in treasury management and accounting systems implementations. He is a CPA licensed in Maryland and Virginia. Phil also previously served as Treasurer for Loudoun (Virginia) Interfaith Relief as well as on the Building and Finance committees of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Ashburn, VA where he resides with his family.
