Martha had always been interested in medicine and saw joining BCCRS as a way to get involved in the field. She also saw it as a way of giving back to the community, getting out of her “comfort zone,” and setting a good example for her three children.

After four years as an EMT, Martha advanced her training to become an ambulance driver and really likes the challenges that it affords.
