Dhananjay Anand joined the Rescue Squad in 2013. Over his tenure at the squad he has held several positions maintaining operations at the squad including as a member of the Rescue1Run, Audit, Information Technology, Public Relations and Development Committees.

As a transplant to the area, that the squad was integral to finding a sense of belonging for him. It collects the nicest people in the neighborhood and commits them to organize around the best ideals of a community; to be there for one another at times of need and to take pride in collective betterment.

Outside the squad, he is a Scientist with the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the U.S. Department of Energy specializing in Dynamics and Control Theory.
