Alex Braun moved to the area in 2013 to study International Development and Economics at American University. He joined the Rescue Squad in his first months of college, became an EMT within a year and became a squad qualified firefighter less than a year after that. Alex is a proud member of the BCCRS Honor Guard and is a permanent sleeper at the Rescue Squad. He has served on multiple committees during his time at BCCRS and provides minimum staffing an average of 5 nights each week.
