New BCCRS Ambulance
The Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad took delivery today on a new 2020 PL Custom Ambulance. This is our fifth PL Custom ambulance, replacing one of our older 2008 units.
There are a few improvements incorporated into this unit:
New graphics design
LED headlights
New harness restraints in the patient compartment for added provider safety
Auto-dimming emergency lights that are not as bright at night
The addition of this unit provides BCCRS with five EMS units equipped with state of the art Stryker Power Cot/Load systems, increasing safety and reducing the risk of injury to providers.
