Bethesda, MD - The Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad responded to 8,824 calls in 2017, which averages to more than one call every hour of every day of the year. Unit responses in 2017 were 10,324 reflecting the fact that multiple units may be dispatched for a single incident.

Bethesda, MD - The Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad held its annual elections on Monday, January 8, 2018.  The Squad's membership elected 12 members to its Board of Directors, 4 members as chief operational officers, and 11 night crew officers as follows:
