Squad Responds to Early Morning Apartment Fire: Just before 0700 hours on the morning of April 2nd, 2013, RS741B responded to the 400 block of Silver Spring Avenue for the reported apartment fire. Arriving units found heavy fire 

and smoke from a top floor apartment and began immediate rescues of residents from neighboring apartments. The BCCRS squad crew arrived and assumed the role of the first due rescue squad forcing entry and searching apartments on the fire floor. Crew members located and assisted with the rescue of one resident. RS741B Crew:
