BCCRS Event - Rescue Day 2006

Come visit the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad on:

October 7, 2006 • 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

For its annual “Rescue Day” open house, held in conjunction with the Taste of Bethesda, the outdoor food festival held just two blocks away in Bethesda's restaurant district.

Rescue Day 2006 will feature free fire and rescue activities and displays, including tours of the station; live demonstrations of emergency medical, rescue, and firefighting equipment; a visit by a helicopter used to transport critically injured patients; free children's firefighter hats and KidCare identification kits; and a moonbounce.  In addition, the Rescue Squad’s most advanced firefighting and rescue equipment will be on display, including emergency vehicles.
