Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad Welcomes Breast Cancer Walkers
The Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad welcomed participants in the Susan G. Komen three-day breast cancer walk on October 10.
The 2009 Washington, D.C. walk covered 60 miles, including downtown Washington, Dupont Circle, the National Zoo, downtown Bethesda, and the National Mall, as part of an effort to raise awareness of breast cancer and raise funds for research.
The Rescue Squad was pleased to provide a "grab and go" stop and a welcome respite for the walkers during their trip through Bethesda.
