Rescue Squad Expresses Condolences Regarding Loss of Crew and Patient on Maryland State Police Helicopter “Trooper 2" on Saturday, September 26.

The Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad expresses its condolences to the families of the crew and patients aboard Maryland State Police (MSP) Helicopter “Trooper 2" when it crashed on Saturday, September 26: Pilot (and retired MSP Corporal) Stephen J. Bunker; MSP Trooper First Class Mickey C. Lippy; Volunteer Emergency Medical Technician Tonya M. Mallard (Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department); and Ashley J. Younger, one of the two vehicle collision victims on board. Jordan Wells, a second patient from the same vehicle collision, was on board as well but survived the helicopter crash.
